A new paper entitled: “Effect of Surfactants on Longevity of Submerged Superhydrophobic Surfaces” was published in Langmuir. This work was supported by National Science Foundation grant number 2041479 and 2339606, and the UMassD MUST program funded by Office of Naval Research. One of the major findings in this work is that surfactants inhibit the mass transfer across the gas-liquid interface and delay the diffusion-induced wetting transition on superhydrophobic surfaces.
